A guide to the Project Process for the local adaptation of the NICE Implementation Resource Tool

The Project Process has been developed to ensure the NICE Implementation Resource Tool project is run locally to pre-agreed timescales and resources, whilst meeting the stated aims and objectives.

A local Project Board should be appointed and give their approval for the project to proceed. The Project Board should allocate the necessary resources for the successful running of the project including a local Project Manager; the Project Manager should then bring together a local Project Task Team.

The majority of information to be collated to create a localised version of the NICE Implementation Resource Tool will exist already in your local area. However there may be some information that has yet to be developed and needs to be created from new; if this information can not be developed within the life time of the project it should be noted in the Implementation Plan and ear marked for future inclusion on the Resource Tool as and when it is completed and approved.
