Service user < 35 years old and:

  • In first 3 years of illness or
  • no previous contact with specialist MHS
Early Intervention Service
Acutely disturbed, at risk and requires high levels of support?
Acutely disturbed, at risk and requires high levels of support?
Crisis Resolution and Home Treatment Team
Community Mental Health Team or Assertive Outreach Team
Continuing need for higher-level support?
Under Mental Health Act
Consider acute day hospital

When Recovering
   
Undertake comprehensive assessment of needs (this may take place in Acute Day Hospital, Early Intervention Service, Community Mental Health Team or Assertive Outreach Team)
