The Primary Care Trust (PCT) is the local NHS organisation responsible for making sure you get the health care you need. The PCT shares it’s boundaries with Knowsley Council and works very closely with Knowsley Council’s Social Services Department to co-ordinate health and social care services for around 160,00 people.

The services the PCT oversees include Family doctors (GPs), Dentists, Pharmacists amd Opticians.

We also provide a range of therapies such as Physiotherapy, Speech and Language Therapy and dieticians amongst others.The joint health and social care headquarters for the PCT and Social Services are at: Health and Social Care Headquarters based at Nutgrove Villa (see above for full address).

Knowsley Patient Advice and Liaison Service (PALS)

If you have a problem or concern with your health care, or simply need some advice and information then you can all the Patient Advice and Liaison Service (PALS)

PALS aims to advise and support patients, provide information on NHS services and help sort out problems on your behalf.
