Knowsley Joint Partners Statement

The Health and Social Care community of Knowsley is committed to delivering first class needs led services to those members of the community who experience a serious mental illness. This commitment is reflected in the resourcing of high quality integrated mental health and social care services provided by Knowsley Primary Care NHS Trust, Five Boroughs Partnership NHS Trust and Knowsley Metropolitan Borough Council Social Services Department. The partnership encompasses strong links with the voluntary and independent sector and service users and carers. This partnership seeks to ensure the implementation of all aspects of best practice relating to care delivery and recovery.

The objective of this web site is to ensure full implementation of NICE Guidance in relation to schizophrenia in both the medical and pharmacological management of the condition and in the promotion of both recovery and social inclusion for those who have experienced this condition.

You will find contained within this website a wealth of information relating to the management of schizophrenia, the testimonies of individuals who experience schizophrenia, and the configuration and contact details of a range of services operating in the borough of Knowsley specializing in mental illness and the wider health and social care arena.
